RF Engineer

Cosmic Microwave Technology, Inc. is a world leader in cryogenic low noise microwave amplifiers. These products are used for radio astronomy and quantum computer applications. In addition, CMT does research in new device technologies and new designs for related applications. CMT maintains a close relationship with the California Institute of Technology.

CMT seeks an engineer that is interested in RF and Microwave circuits. The successful candidate will:

Test Microwave hardware using Noise Figure Meters, Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
Do Computer Aided Design using Onshape drawing package and Keysight ADS software.
Build miniature microwave hardware.
Be honest and values oriented.
Be research oriented.
Work both independently and be able to collaborate with other engineers.
Be open to new concepts and ideas.

RF/Microwave Technician

CMT seeks an RF/Microwave Technician that is interested in RF and Microwave circuitry. The successful candidate will:

Test Microwave hardware using Noise Figure Meters, Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
Maintain cryogenic test stations
Build miniature microwave hardware. Soldering/wire bonding
Honest and values oriented
Research oriented
Work both independently and respectfully with all levels of staff.
Open to new concepts and ideas
